BOSfluids 6.1

BOSfluids is a software from the Dutch company Dynaflow Research Group BV, which is used in the field of analysis and simulation of surge phenomenon in power plants and pipelines. Surge phenomenon is generally considered in gas and liquid pipelines and studies the causes of pressure fluctuations and methods to eliminate it. Surge or sudden change in pressure in pipelines can be due to various reasons that occur in a planned or unplanned manner. For example, there may be simple reasons such as the opening and closing of a valve or inlet valve, or more complex reasons such as pump malfunctions. With the help of this software, engineers are able to perform search analysis and simulation processes in a fully interactive way in a visual environment.

BOSfluids helps you find the technical glitches and problems of the cycle as quickly as possible and think of a way to fix them. This software has a function beyond a simple surge analysis software and can help the user in the fields of simulating stable pressure flow in pipelines and estimating successive pressure fluctuations in pipes. This software can simulate single-phase liquid flow in different pipelines. In our default simulation process, it is assumed that the properties of the fluid being transferred are completely homogeneous and that the flow has the same properties in all sections of pipelines, especially at cross-sections and intersections. These assumptions are applicable to achieve accurate and practical results in a wide range of power plants and pipelines.
