STeelCON is an engineering application for the analysis and design of Eurocode 3 steel mold joints. Supported connections are multi-parameter and allow the user to achieve optimal design. For complex connections, this program uses automatic optimization capabilities. STeelCON has the ability to optimize connections for maximum strength or optimal design. The program also generates a tree of connection variables that meet the needs of the user. The user also determines the components that the program is allowed to use, such as stiffeners, bolt types, bolt qualities and more.

STeelCON can also be used as part of the SOFiSTiK structural analysis system to frame and measure joints between parts of a steel structure. The user can select the location of the vectors through a graphical interface. The program automatically detects the participating parts and connects them to the connections. Analysis data of a steel load prepared by other programs can also be imported into the program in the form of an ASCII file.
