Forsk Atoll is an advanced engineering platform for designing, planning and optimizing GSM/UMTS/LTE wireless networks. The software uses a powerful computational architecture and enables multi-technology modeling including GSM, UMTS, LTE, 5G NR, Wi-Fi, IoT and Backhaul. Forsk Atoll software covers the full network lifecycle; from initial design and coverage simulation to network densification, traffic congestion analysis, technology upgrades and accurate densification. With an integrated GIS engine, the tool is capable of processing large geographic data and can effectively use map services such as Bing or OSM and files such as BIL, TIF, ArcView.

Forsk Atoll also integrates real-world network data (such as KPIs and UE/MDT) and automates and optimizes network design and optimization with tools such as AFP (Automatic Frequency Planning) and ACP (Automatic Cell Planning). It can plan in complex HetNet environments, mmWave networks, Massive MIMO, 3D beamforming, and Small Cells using the Aster dispersion model. In addition, the In-Building module enables integrated indoor and outdoor coverage design with centimeter-level accuracy, significantly accelerating the network engineering process.
