ARES Electrical is a software for developing electrical projects that has several automations to help with the different stages of a project, especially speeding up repetitive processes. To create an electrical project with automatic references, there is a component wizard. AE has a library with several representations that are already registered and ready to be inserted into a design.

The library registration is fully customizable and may include automatic names, technical descriptions, functions, manufacturer and internal code. In addition, it is possible to register sub-circuits, i.e. circuits that integrate a larger project, for example, drawing a sub-circuit of a motor starter.

AE also has features that automatically generate lists of bills of materials used, cables/wires, terminals and labels, providing important information, avoiding manual errors and greatly speeding up the design process. When assembling a control panel, there are several aspects that need to be considered, including safety and waste of wires and cables. With the wiring list generated in AE, we know where the wire originates or connects to, so we have a much smaller margin of error in digitally assembling the circuit before we start.

ARES Electrical features and functions:

• Projects developed in AE follow the assembly technician from bill of materials lists and component specifications, predicting wire lengths and channel sizes, to component positioning, wire routing, and connection.
• It is possible to customize the extra margin when calculating the length of cables and prevent cable failure.
