• Image Requirements:

  • Only processes black & white (binary) images

  • Cannot process grayscale/color images or pixelated character images

  • No background colors allowed in processed images

  • Source documents must be clearly printed at high resolution

  • Images should be scanned as “binary” at 600 DPI

• Web PDF Limitation: Web-based PDFs often contain low-resolution images (<300 DPI) and will produce useless recognition results
