Lioyd’s Register IC 2019 v4.3.2

IC is the next evolution of geological offerings from LR.
Our previous geological software, ODM, is fully compatible with IC and can be upgraded to an IC database with the correct licence upgrade. If upgrading an ODM database, several major database structure difference are required to use these as an IC database. This can happen as part of the upgrade process with no foreseen negative impact on the data stored within.
IC 2019 no longer supports the use of MS Access or Oracle as a database format. The option to run IC under a 32-bit application will no longer be available. All databases must be upgraded and converted to MS SQL format.
IC uses a simple breakdown of licensed modules to ensure all users have the toolkits they require to achieve their specific goals.

Highlights and Improvements

Charts
• Improvements to interactive editing on charts.
• Instant removal of the dashed red lines on selected data
• Additional interval-value editing options
• Smart directional drawing when adding or modifying data.
• Reduced size of PDF files when saving charts containing stacked curves using Microsoft PDF printer.
• Rework “Use chart size as page size” functionality in PDF Export dialog (not available with Microsoft PDF printer at

Maps
• Offer to add coordinate reference system to database CRS list when importing shapefile using unrecognised CRS.
