The Paulin Research Group (PRG) software suite is the most advanced analytical tool in the field of pressure vessel and piping system design and analysis. The most important software in the Paulin Research Group suite include FE107, NozzlePRO, FEPIPE and PVPTPro, each of which is designed with a focus on the analysis of local and global stresses in components under mechanical and thermal loads.

In version 2024 of the PVPTPro software, advanced nonlinear analysis capabilities have been added, including the arc-length method for thermal buckling analysis, which allows for more accurate simulation of nonlinear material behavior at high temperatures. Also, the ability to simultaneously model up to eight nozzles or connections has created a major breakthrough in the accuracy of local analyses and structural interactions.

PRG software is fully compliant with ASME B31.1, B31.3, and Part VIII of the ASME BPVC Code, making it a powerful tool for design engineers in the oil, gas, petrochemical, and power plant industries. Other notable features of the new version include improvements in automatic meshing algorithms, support for nozzle analysis on inclined and tilted surfaces, and the ability to accurately model welds and residual stresses, all of which lead to more reliable analysis and safer equipment design.

  NozzlePRO is a fast finite element analysis (FEA) tool for nozzles, elbows, reinforcements, and fittings in pressure vessels. With automated meshing and analysis algorithms, the software allows engineers to investigate stresses at connection points due to mechanical, thermal, and compressive loads.
• FE107
  This software is specifically designed for analyzing local stresses in pressurized components in accordance with ASME Section VIII, Division 2 Appendix 4 and 5.
• FEPIPE
  FEPIPE is designed to perform accurate 3D analysis of complex piping components such as bends, fittings, tees, and nozzles with support for the ASME B31 standard.
• PVPTPro
