DionisosFlow^® 2025 brings new developments designed to improve geological realism and strengthen stratigraphic expertise.

The renewed Facies and Discrete Properties Definition Editor enables the generation of multiple depositional scenarios, giving a greater flexibility to represent results and adapt models to diverse geological contexts.

The Ecology & Reworking Editor now highlights the most frequently used parameters and introduces a turbidity threshold that directly impacts carbonate and organic matter production, bringing simulations closer to environmental controls observed in nature.

To better represent subsurface evolution, a new multi-layer substratum definition can be edited, allowing users to capture erosion events and geological inheritance more accurately.

In its ongoing refinement, the Section Editor includes new display features. Multiple objects can be shown within a section, providing more control and flexibility. Additionally, the Calibration Editor is enriched with a Spider Plot, making it easier to identify misfits and communicate calibration results well by well.

Through its link to CougarFlow®, DionisosFlow® benefits from additional developments that enhance uncertainty and sensitivity analysis and allow for assisted calibration to all types of logs.

Finally, and as with every new version, DionisosFlow® 2025 offers a number of adjustments and additions that will enhance the user experience and provide more versatility.

The 2024 version of KronosFlow™ aims at enhancing study productivity through new features, tools available during the restoration process and expanding basin modeling simulation capabilities.

Notably the layering workflow has been updated with a new isopach user-defined method. This dedicated method bring more flexibility for the user to quickly add units at the age of deposition once the restoration steps are already done.

Several basin modeling options have been added such as the ability to assess biogenic gas with migration and the possibility to model deep gas sources, unlocking deep CO₂ or H₂S risk assessment, but also exploration workflows for natural hydrogen or helium. This same functionality has also been thought to evaluate CO₂ storage potential in saline aquifers, allowing for preliminary but sound characterization of storage capacity, seal efficiency and aquifers connectivity.

Finally, users can now benefit from CougarFlow’s developments to run risk and sensitivity analysis as well as automatic calibration to well data. These extended functionalities enable a seamless integration with E&P workflows beyond the OpenFlow Suite helping communication for decision makers.

TemisFlow® 2024 paves the way for new basin modeling applications focused on alternative energy sources and decarbonization while improving further its exploration workflows for oil and gas.

ArcTem simulator now benefits from the deep gas sources functionality, unlocking deep CO₂ or H₂S risk assessment, but also exploration workflows for natural hydrogen or helium. This same functionality has also been thought to evaluate CO₂ storage potential in saline aquifers, allowing for preliminary characterization of storage capacity, seal efficiency and aquifers connectivity. Thanks to the addition of tracers, it is now also possible to do contamination assessment.

Calculators have been enhanced to handle high-resolution time steps and extremely low-density fluid to answer new energy challenges and improve the gas migration characterization. Many other improvements related to visualization options, trap charge assessment or data management have also been brought forward.

Finally, CougarFlow® 2024 is available in combination with the ArcTem simulator with all the bells and whistles for risk assessment and sensitivity analysis. It also brings a long-awaited functionality to help in the calibration process based on optimization algorithm applied to response surfaces. This new method allows finding the best-calibrated models for a given set of uncertain parameters and provides the most probable range of distribution for those uncertain parameters to calibrate the model, improving our understanding of the model uncertainty.

Fractures are failures in the rock mass. Their state of openness determines their aperture and conductivity, therefore both their fluid potential and their ability to conduct fluids. It is influenced by factors, such as the dip and azimuth of the fractures, the presence and pressure of fluids and both orientation and intensity of local stress components. This is the reason why geomechanics is so important in a fracture characterization and modeling study.

In this new release, FracaFlow® developed 2 modules for this purpose: the Stress analysis to understand which fractures observed in a well could be critically stressed, and the Geomechanical constraint computation to model stress perturbations induced by faults.

This new version takes another step forward with a Stress computation functionality allowing the calculation of a 1D MEM (for vertical wells).

PumaFlow® continues to move towards new energy transition challenges. Combinations of options are more and more demanding to deal with specific needs like Co-production of Heat and Lithium and Dual medium and Thermal computation for geothermal in fractured zone.

Tracers have been extended to be initially present in the reservoir model and produced as co-product of simulation. Tracer tests can be fully represented and matched, allowing for accurate predictions of mass of products in solution like Lithium.

Complexity of thermal effects in fractured rocks can be modeled with property changes either in Porosity or Permeability.

On the other hand, PumaFlow® 2024 Graphical User Interface is still evolving to give more flexibility in QC and results analysis with new functions in the Cross Plot and Section Editor.

Several reported issues have been corrected to feed the non-blocking maintenance.

This release marks a major leap forward in performance and analysis capabilities, reaffirming our commitment to faster, smarter, and more transparent decision-making.

Computation speed has been significantly improved across the board—especially in Map Analysis and Response Surface modeling—making it easier than ever to iterate, test, and converge. With enhanced random selection for predictivity index, users can now explore and compare multiple sampling combinations in detail, and quickly relaunch for better performance.

But this version isn’t just faster—it’s also smarter. The new Augmented LHS refines existing designs to improve the predictivity index scores and enables more intelligent blind testing. When the data isn’t stable enough for a response surface, you can now bypass the model entirely and generate direct P10, P50, and P90 maps from raw simulations.

Transparency and traceability are also at the heart of this update. Key configurations—like sampling and response surface setups—can now be reopened in read-only mode for easy inspection.

Finally, with the new User Defined distribution, uncertainty modeling reaches a new level of flexibility. Custom probability tables, visual previews, and the ability to import posterior distributions from ROI/OF analysis now support more advanced, model-calibrated exploration.
