PERMiT , an erosion calculator tool, provides a flexible, and intuitive interface to calculate, and estimate erosion occurred in different piping components such as pipes, elbows, tees, welded joints, and others. This tool utilizes different models such as API, DNV, and ECRC to analyze, and predict the erosion occurred in piping networks.
PERMiT has been developed to reduce the certainty of erosion, cost of testing, and enhance the productivity of piping network systems in oil & gas, refineries, liquid-gas dominated, onshore, and offshore sectors.

The major salient features of the product are:

 Enables to make data analysis by generating plots using given models.
 Provides the database of standard pipe components for different flow rate,
and erosion rate values.
 Offers a provision to save images, and export the data in .csv format.

 Ability to notify the users with a caution message if any input exceeds the
limit.
