Qbitec plugin for Revit is designed to eliminate the limitations related to point clouds. Revit has limitations in working with point clouds by default that waste time and money. These limitations include limit on the size of point clouds, need to copy data to local hard drive, lack of support for online platforms, improper display of point clouds, lack of support for panoramas and need for powerful hardware. This plugin has been developed with the aim of eliminating these limitations and simplifying point cloud workflows. This plugin allows the user to load point clouds of any size, from small to billions of points, with high visual quality and high speed.

The plugin also supports direct loading of point clouds from online sources such as NavVis IVION and displays panoramas directly in the 3D view. The plugin helps the user view structures faster and more accurately by providing features such as instant X-ray display, spot size adjustment and better intensity coloring. The plugin is constantly updated by collaborating with laser scanner vendors and online providers.
