SeismoBuild is a product of seismosoft and includes a limited set of tools for the assessment and strengthening of reinforced concrete structures. This package has the ability to fully apply the defined codes for assessment methods from the structural modeling stage to the required analysis and verification of the relevant members and currently supports Eurocode, the Italian National Seismic Code NTC-08, and the Greek Intermediate Seismic Code KANEPE. The software includes an extensive library of nonlinear models for steel and concrete materials. It also has the ability to provide detailed technical reports in PDF, RTF or HTML formats. With the Building Modeller, users can create regular or irregular reinforced concrete models in 3D in minutes. Both metric and imperial units are supported, as well as the types of reinforcing bars available in Europe and the United States.
From version 2023 onwards, FRP Designer software is also installed along with SeismoBuild software.
FRP Designer provides an efficient solution for the design of FRP reinforced concrete columns and beams by calculating the resistance of reinforced concrete members reinforced with FRP sheets.
Specifically, the software calculates the flexural and shear capacity of reinforced concrete members first without FRP sheet reinforcement and then with FRP sheets specified by the user. In this way, the software provides a tool for designing the reinforcement of a reinforced concrete member against flexural and shear, as well as evaluating the effects of strengthening with various FRP laminates.
