Invensys is a multinational company that manufactures a variety of engineering products under the titles Avantis, Wonderware and SimSci. Invensys SimSci-Esscor brand with the new name Schneider Electric SimSci, which is produced in collaboration with Schneider Electric , is a set of software for designing and simulating fluid flow, performing calculations, analysis, optimization and production planning in chemical units. This collection consists of three sections: SimSci Design; Includes design and simulation programs, SimSci Operate section; Has simulation tools for better training and understanding, SimSci Optimize section; Includes process optimization programs and the SimSci Spiral section, including project management software and production cost estimation. One of the most important software in this series is SimSci PRO / II.
