VPIphotonics Design Suite is an advanced tool for the design and analysis of integrated circuits and photonic systems. The suite includes specialized tools such as VPItransmissionMaker™ Optical Systems, VPIlabExpert™, VPIcomponentMaker™ Fiber Optics, and VPIcomponentMaker™ Photonic Circuits, each designed for specific applications in the photonics field.

In addition, VPIphotonics Design Suite software uses highly advanced numerical algorithms and extensive libraries of modules to accurately and reliably simulate optical systems. VPIphotonics Design Suite software is specially developed for the design of optical transmission systems, photonic integrated circuits, and the analysis of optoelectronic devices.
