++ PIPES , a product of Watercom company, is a Single Balance or Extended Period simulator software for the flow and quality of urban water in the network distribution system.is Components that can be modeled in this software include tanks, pipelines, pumping stations, surface losses, control valves, tank inlet control valves, pressure control valves, flow control valves and sprinklers. Pipe flow in this software is calculated either by Colebrook or Hazen Williams equation. In fact, you just draw the distribution network in the software in a linear and schematic way and put signs indicating the different components on the way, and the software does the rest for you. Even if your system design is CAD, it can be easily entered into the software. Another feature of this water quality analysis software is to simulate the amount of chloride, fluoride and other chemicals over time.
