ZwSoft ZWSim Structural 2026

ZWSim Structural is a CAE software solution for calculating the strength and behavior of structures using the finite element method (FEM), enabling modeling and analysis of mechanical, thermal, and dynamic loads on structures. ZWSim integrates modeling (geometry) and simulation in a single environment, allowing you to move directly from modeling to analysis without rebuilding in another program. 

ZWSim Structural supports a wide range of analyses, loads, and model types:

• Linear analyses (static analysis, stability/buckling, modal analysis, vibration, modal oscillations, spectral/random response) – this allows us to evaluate strength, stiffness, stability, and behavior under vibration.
• Nonlinear analysis – for calculations involving large deformations, complex contacts, nonlinear material properties, component interactions, displacement, etc.
• Thermal analysis – can analyze heat transfer, thermal loads, thermal expansion, and the response of a structure to temperature effects.
• Fatigue analysis – to assess the service life of a structure under cyclic loads, vibrations, and repeated impacts.
• Dynamic events such as drop tests, impacts, and vibrations are useful for testing impact, shock, and stability.
• Different types of elements: beams, rods, cables, shells, solid elements, connections, mass elements.
• Contacts and connections: different types of contacts (rigid, sliding, friction, adhesion), connections with bolts, pins, rigid rods, welding are supported.
• Convenient mesh generation: 1D/2D/3D meshes, hybrid types, local element density control, mesh quality check and editing/repair tools.
• Materials: You can define your own material properties, store libraries of materials used in different projects – including complex composites (laminates), and perform composite analysis.
• Results and visualization: contour maps of stresses and deformations, tables, animations, graphs, reports – all this for analysis of results, verification, optimization.
• Integration and compatibility: Support for over 20 file formats, including Nastran BDF export/import, making it easy to exchange geometry and results with other CAD/CAE/PLM systems.
