MSC Adams

ADAMS stands for Automated Dynamic Analysis of Mechanical Systems. MSC Adams is one of the most powerful and oldest computer-aided engineering (CAE) software for the force and motion analysis of multibody systems. This program provides engineers with a wide range of capabilities to create, test, verify, and simulate mechanical systems before they reach the physical prefabrication stage. Adams is divided into two general parts: the software core and the specialized part; the Adams core itself consists of three parts: Adams/View section for 3D modeling, defining objects and their properties, forces, displacements, etc., Adams/Solver section for numerically solving the designed dynamic system using the Euler–Lagrange method, and Adams/PostProcessor section for displaying the results of different sections in a graphical and multimedia format.
