Summary of Studio software updates:

• To improve the user experience when working with projects with a high number of wells, the tree in the Refine well selection dialog box in Petrel is collapsed by default.
• User can now select multiple database and repository refresh tasks by using the Select all check box in the table header in the Database Refresh app.

Foundation

The auto legends for 2D and 3D windows showed two decimal positions by default. Now unnecessary decimal positions will not be shown, creating a cleaner display without having to change the template settings.

Studio Manager comprises a suite of tools for effectively managing the Studio environment.

It consolidates all administrative and core data management workflows, including those previously performed in Data Environment Manager (DEM) and Database Manager. Using Studio Manager, data managers quickly understand the state of their Studio environment by using cutting-edge applications (“apps”) to ascertain the status of repositories, review recent user activity, identify tasks that need to be performed, and perform the workflows surrounding those tasks.

Studio Manager also shows high-level information in “widgets,” which you can display or hide. Widgets provide quick access to Message Center and a list of database users.

Studio Manager includes the following key features and capabilities:

• Clean and streamlined app-based interface in which all apps are accessible from a centralized App Gallery that is organized into categories (Browse, Correct, Administer, and Organize)
• Tools to administer the Studio environment, as well as the indexing of Studio repositories, Petrel* Reference projects, and third-party databases and applications
• Spatial awareness obtained via visualizing data in 2D or 3D viewers, enabling you to understand and update database repositories and index-related information
• Message Center that keeps data managers informed of data administration and data transfers issues
• New data workflows and data management workflows, including CRS consolidation, merge and organize global well logs, correct user attributes, implement match rules, and configure the Studio Database in Microsoft SQL Server^®
