Solarius PV is a professional tool for the design and technical and economic analysis of photovoltaic systems connected to national power grids. This software, produced by ACCA, helps users design a variety of photovoltaic systems by providing a step-by-step process. Its capabilities include defining available levels for PV systems, using extensive libraries of modules, inverters and batteries, and calculating the impact of shading.
The software allows 3D and BIM modeling for different installation surfaces (roofs, floors, awnings) and supports importing designs from DXF/DWG files and BIM models in IFC format. Solarius PV uses reliable databases such as Meteonorm and PVGIS to determine solar radiation, which retrieves the required climatic data by entering the GPS coordinates of the project location; it also has a shadow analysis tool that calculates the impact of nearby and distant obstacles on energy production on hourly, daily, monthly or annual intervals.
In addition to technical design, Solarius PV provides comprehensive economic analyses that include construction cost estimates, annual electricity generation, return on investment analysis, cash flow and business plan financial evaluation. The software is able to automatically adjust the single-line diagram of the PV system based on the configuration of panels, inverters, batteries and electrical panels, and also recommends the size of direct and alternating current cables based on the installation conditions. Project outputs include technical and economic reports, implementation documents and design schematics that can be exported to popular formats including PDF, DWG, DXF.
